Join the Association
SSHOC-CH brings together institutions and individuals working with social sciences and humanities research infrastructures in Switzerland. There are two ways to join: as an individual member or as a collective member.
Individual Membership
Open to people who do research, work or have worked in research infrastructures based in Switzerland, or who are committed to them (national research infrastructures or national nodes of international research infrastructures).
To join, fill in the Declaration of Membership:
Collective Membership
Open to Swiss institutions, research infrastructures, competence centres, libraries, archives, museums, repositories, data services, and other organisations that support research in the social sciences and humanities.
As a collective member, you:
- Support the goals of SSHOC-CH, including Open Science and FAIR data practices
- Take part in the General Assembly and working groups through one or more representatives
- Exchange knowledge, expertise, and services with the SSHOC-CH community

Members may join at any time. Applications go to the SSHOC-CH Board, which decides on admission.

Statutes
The SSHOC-CH statutes set out the purpose of the association and the rights and obligations of its members. They are available on the Association page.
Data Protection: The association only collects personal data from members that is necessary to fulfil the purpose of the association. The Executive Board ensures that the data is secured in a manner commensurate with the risk.
