+The workshop aimed at **finding synergies and fostering collaborations between the social sciences and humanities**, and to build an **ecosystem of national infrastructures and expertise** which will support scholars from social sciences and humanities in their research and in managing their data in the spirit of Open Science and FAIR principles.
+**Current developments at the European level** were presented by Bonnie Wolff-Boenisch, Director of CESSDA and chair of SSHOC. After a presentation and discussion on the **vision of SSHOC Switzerland**, the association was formally launched, statutes were adopted and the board members as well as the president were elected.
